Corporate Volunteer Council
Formed in 1994, the Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) is a coalition of local businesses with an active employee volunteer program or an interest in starting one.
The CVC is managed by The Volunteer Center of Greensboro, a United Way agency that works to strengthen the community by creating meaningful volunteer connections.
CVC Objectives:
• Strengthen Employee Volunteer Programs (EVP) at local companies by providing EVP management resources, best practices, peer to peer learning, information about community needs, and opportunities to participate in collaborate volunteer efforts
• Support nonprofits with corporate volunteers and resources by supporting nonprofit and business partnerships
• Enhance the quality of life in our community.
