What is Volunteer Connect?

Volunteer Connect is your one stop shop for volunteer opportunities in our community.

Volunteer Connect is an online tool that you can use to search and apply for local volunteer positions. You can search volunteer positions by your skills and interests. There are volunteer opportunities for adults, teens, and groups.  There is also a listing for people who need to perform court appointed, community service hours.

How do I view opportunities on Volunteer Connect?

Step 1. Click the red ‘Volunteer Connect’ Button (If you have registered before, just sign in, if you are new, go below the sign in area and then click on ’Click Here to Register!’)

Step 2. Register yourself to have access to the database. This will allow you to create a username and password so you can search for more opportunities in the future. Only spaces with the asterisk symbol * are required.

Step 3. Search opportunities on Volunteer Connect. You can either search by a specific skillset or leave everything blank and press the search button for a listing of all of the opportunities.

Step 4. Apply for a volunteer opporunity.  When you find an opportunity, you can either contact that nonprofit directly with the contact information they provide or click the apply button on the webpage that will send an immediate e-mail to the contact person notifying them of your interest in volunteering.
