(D) Adult Center for Enrichment
needs an Expressions of Life Volunteer to facilitate creative expressions for frail and impaired adults in one of the agency’s adult day care programs. Training provided.

(D) Greensboro Historical Museum  needs receptionists/hosts. Greet museum visitors and answer questions about the museum. Training provided. Minimum age 14.

 (D) Hemphill Library
needs volunteers to help children and staff with art programs and projects in the Hemphill Library art studio. The library operates a Teen Volunteer Program, and teens as young as 12 may apply. Orientation sessions in January, May, and September. Long-term volunteer assignments only. Interview and application required.

International Civil Rights Center & Museum
needs volunteers in the following areas:
Administrative Aide: Assists museum departments in various ways, such as mass mailing projects, making phone calls and answering phones, filing, making copies, faxing documents, typing letters and other light office and clerical duties. Administrative aids can be placed in the following departments: Development, and Visitor Services.
Entrance/Gallery Greeters: Welcome and assist visitors by providing directions, distributing information about current events/exhibitions, open gallery doors, answer general questions, inform visitors of prohibitions (no food or beverages in galleries), and maintain a presence in the museum.
Docents: Conducts tours for groups of all ages throughout the year. Museum docents also facilitate workshops for groups. All docents are required to complete in-depth training prior to conducting tours. 
Gallery Monitors: Provide directions to visitors, enforce rules regarding food /beverages, monitor behavior of visitors ensuring that exhibitions are not being touched or damaged, and report any problems within galleries. 
Special Events/Programs: Assisting with planned and annual museum events including children’s programs. 
Membership: Assist with promotion and selling of museum memberships at various events at the site or at community sponsored events.
Gift Shop: Assist with providing customer service, fold clothes, attach price tags to merchandise and perform other store related activities.
Training provided for volunteers.
