Backpack Beginnings - To serve and meet the most basic needs of underprivileged children in Guilford County one backpack at a time. Our aim is to help children create a new beginning by providing them what they need most – food and comfort. To fulfill this mission, BackPack Beginnings has established two programs, the Food BackPack Program and the Comfort BackPack Program.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Piedmont - It’s Big Brothers Big Sisters mission to help children reach their full potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships. Greyhound Friends of North Carolina - Our mission is dedicated to providing adoption services for retired racing Greyhounds, provide for their health and welfare, educate the public about the availability and desirability of greyhounds as pets and place them through adoption into loving homes.
Guilford County Schools – Guilford County Schools (GCS) is the third largest district in the state serving more than 72,000 students across 122 schools in urban, suburban and rural areas.
